I'm Adlet Balzhanov, a software engineer since 2016.
This is where I post my 5-minute essays. Worth every minute, imho.
I did competitive programming back in the day (ICPC semifinals 2018, 2019).
Lately, I specialize in designing highly reliable, large-scale distributed systems.
I’m originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan but I live in Berlin now. To stay sane after work, I’m into Brazilian jiu-jitsu (still a white belt though), grappling, and football.

Cheers!
